So you like to eat

This is a great area for food, no filler here, this is a very incomplete list

Coffee- JJ Bean on the south side of Powell, one block west.
             Far Out coffee Post 2173 Dundas St. -Coffee and Pinball

Breakfast :
                  Red Wagon on Hastings, there will be a line up on weekends after 9:30.
                 Yolks, corner of Hastings and Woodland, also a lineup on weekends.
                  Roundel Cafe also on Hastings, sometimes a line up.
                  Princeton Hotel, just west on Powell, no lineup ever, basic greasy spoon.

Dinner: 
                 Commercial Drive- filled with great places, favorite is Havanna's, second is The Charleton.

Mexican: Tacofino on Hastings is the spot to be.

Chinese- lots of places on Hastings, if you want style, atmosphere and great food hit up Bao Bei in Chinatown on Keefer street.

Italian, Pepinos Spaghetti house on Commercial Dr.

Palestinian- Tamam on Hastings- great food!

Burgers- Veras Burgers on Commercial.

Barbecue- Memphis Blues on Commercial.

Sushi- Too many to choose from, cheap and quick, Nanaimo Sushi on Nanaimo. Really good sushi, Koko  on Hastings.


Best place to listen to old school metal and have great food and drink- The Jackelope 2257 Hastings.

 Key Party- 2305 Main St., Look for the accountants office.

Laowai-to gain access order a #7 at the BLND TGR dumpling shop, 251 East Georgia
